Customer-facing checkout
The checkbox begins unchecked. A customer may complete checkout without selecting it. Selecting it authorizes transactional updates for that specific order only.
The image below is an actual capture of the Naan ordering checkout. It uses example menu data and clearly synthetic contact information; no customer information is shown. The unchecked checkbox and enabled Continue button demonstrate that SMS consent is optional.
Program details
Naan sends transactional order messages only after affirmative consent. Messages may cover order receipt, confirmation, pickup or delivery status, cancellation, refunds, and final receipts. Frequency varies by order, typically up to six messages per order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
